A lot of people think B'nai B'rith is only about tradition. That's not surprising, considering that we've been around since 1843! For 165 years, we've provided a place where Jews can connect not only with each other, but also with their culture and heritage. We've served as a steadfast voice against antisemitism and other forms of intolerance. And, we've offered a helping hand to those in times of need, no matter whether it was acute or chronic, induced by man or nature, and without regard to race or religion.
And, while we're still proud to be doing all these things, we now have a broader role. We see it as access, advocacy, and aid.
