Sharon Metro Roll, director of planned giving, has worked for B'nai B'rith International since 1994 in our Washington, D. C. office. Sharon oversees the planned giving department and works with our donors, members, friends, and professional advisors to establish planned gifts. Sharon also directs B'nai B'rith's endowment, which consists of restricted endowment funds, scholarship funds, donor-advised funds and designated trusts. She handles planned giving advertising for B'nai B'rith Magazine and other Jewish press and organizes estate planning seminars for lay people and professionals nationwide. Sharon holds a law degree and lives in Kensington, Maryland with her husband and two children.
Marna Schoen, associate director of planned giving, has worked for the B'nai B'rith Foundation in our New York and Washington, D.C. offices since 1998. Marna assists our donors, members and friends nationwide who are interested in establishing planned gifts. She meets with donors and their financial advisors regarding planned gifts and bequests that will meet donors' specific needs. She contributes articles to the regional B'nai B'rith Today newspapers and edits the planned giving newsletter, Dor L'Dor. She organizes estate planning seminars for laypeople and professionals nationwide. Marna holds a masters of nonprofit management and a masters of social work. She and her husband live in Silver Spring, Maryland and New York City.
Denise Herschberg, associate director of planned giving/Florida region, runs B'nai B'rith's planned giving program in Florida. She has fifteen years of experience working with donors to meet their philanthropic goals. Prior to joining B'nai B'rith in 2003, Denise was the director of development for AMIT Women and the director of development for The Ronald S. Lauder Foundation, both in New York City. Denise also served as a major gifts fundraiser for the UJA-Federation of New York and the United Jewish Federation of MetroWest. She resides in Boca Raton with her husband and four children.
