Watch and discuss the new film, “Bau, Artist at War.”

Joseph Bau was among the 1,100 Jews saved by Nazi industrialist Oskar Schindler. His secret marriage to Rebecca Tannenbaum in a concentration camp in Poland was immortalized in the film Schindler’s List. But there’s so much more to Bau’s legacy. Now, with the new biographical documentary, “Bau, Artist at War,” his full and fascinating life is revealed.

B’nai B’rith invites you to attend a film screening of “Bau, Artist at War,” followed by a discussion led by B’nai B’rith CEO Daniel S. Mariaschin, with Deborah Smerecnik, the movie’s writer and producer, and Clila and Hadasa Bau, the daughters of Joseph and Rebecca Bau.

The program is a joint project of B’nai B’rith, the Holocaust and United Nations Outreach Programme and the Center for Jewish History.
